Since the absolute value of any number is always positive, this means that the absolute value of x%2B2 is never negative. So this means that abs%28x%2B2%29=-14 is never true for any x value. So the answer is d) None of the above

Note: the true answer should be "There are no solutions" but it is not listed as one of the choices.
