SOLUTION: 4x+3≤-5 and 3x-2<7
I tried on the first and got x≤-2 and the second x<3 but the answer is said to be x≤-3, I don't know if I'm doing it wrong, or the answer is j

Question 152962: 4x+3≤-5 and 3x-2<7
I tried on the first and got x≤-2 and the second x<3 but the answer is said to be x≤-3, I don't know if I'm doing it wrong, or the answer is just wrong. Answer by edjones(8007) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 4x+3≤-5 and 3x-2<7
.
4x+3≤-5
4x<=-8
x<=-2
.
3x-2<7
3x<9
x<3
This 2nd answer is consistent with the 1st. It just doesn't add any information that we didn't know already from x<=-2
The answer on the number line extends from -2 to infinity.
x[-2,infinity)
.
