What polynomial represents the new area? By how much will the area of the new garden differ from that of the old garden?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The area of the old square garden is:
A%5Bo%5D+=+x%5E2
If you add 5 feet to one side, you get x+5.
If you subtract 5 feet from the other side, you get x-5
The area of the new garden is:
A%5Bn%5D+=+%28x%2B5%29%28x-5%29
A%5Bn%5D+=+x%5E2-25
The area of the new garden is 25 sq.ft. less than that of the old garden.
