You can put this solution on YOUR website!
when the y term is by itself on one side of the equation,
__ the coefficient of the x term is the slope of the line
__ and the constant term is the y-intercept (where the line crosses the y-axis)

usually written as y=mx+b __ m is the slope; b is the y-intercept

eg. y=3x-7 __ the slope of the line is 3 __ the line crosses the y-axis at -7
