I'm guessing the problem is
r%2F-3+%2B+6-1=2
first thing you do is try to isolate the variable term. 6-1=5, 2-5=-3
r%2F-3+=+-3
Then you can multiple both sides by -3, because r%2F-3%2A-3=r
r+=+9
