You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
1. x^2-5x+6=0
Factor
(x-3)(x-2)=0
Set each expression equal to 0 and solve
x-3=0
x=3
x-2=0
x=2
So x=2; 3
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.2x^2-9x-5=0
Factor
(2x+1)(x-5)=0
Set each expression equal to 0 and solve
2x+1=0
2x=-1
x=-1/2
x-5=0
x=5
So x=-1/2; 5
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. 3x^2+5x-2=0
Factor
(3x-1)(x+2)=0
Set each expression equal to 0 and solve
3x-1=0
3x=1
x=1/3
x+2=0
x=-2
So x=1/3; -2
