You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Now you can use the quadratic formula,
Is that what you meant by sqrt(10)?
Here are the approximate solutions,

.
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 2x^2 - 4x = 3
2x^2-4x-3=0
using the quadratic equation:we get:
x=(4+-sqrt[-462-4*2*-3])/2*2
x=(4+-sqrt[16+24])/4
x=(4+-sqrt40)/4
x=(4+-6.325)/4
x=(4+6.325)/4
x=10.325/4
x=2.58 answer.
x=(4-6.325)/4
x=-2.325/4
x=-.58 answer.
