Since the sides are 6cm longer than the base, "s= b+6"
For the perimeter, we get the measurements of 2 equal sides + the base,

45cm+=+2%28b%2B6%29+%2B+b
45+=+2b+%2B+12+%2B+b
45+-+12+=+3b
%2833%2F3%29+=+b ----------- > b=+11cm, base of the triangle
