Question 14820:  please help solve the inquality. -3+x<10 we need to find a solution. 
we need to enter a soulition as an inquality comparing the variable to the solution. ive had help in pretty much basic math , and now im doing on line schooling. This is very hard for me , so if you can help me understand in any way, I would appriciate anything you could do for me. Thank You Zach,mom and dad also.

You can  put this solution on YOUR website! -3+x<10  
First of all do not let the inequality sign scare and confuse you. 
Solve the problem as if it was an equal sign 
-3+x=10 
Add 3 to both sides; 
-3+x+3=10+3 
x=13 
Now but the inequality sign back in place of the = sign; 
x<13 
So any number less than 13 will solve the equation!
