: I am having the hardest time figuring out how to write in the exponential form of the natural base e itself in the following:
ln e^2=2.
If you will please also write in detail (or as much as possible), how you derived your answer, that would be great.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Remember ln%28x%29=log%28e%2C%28x%29%29 So ln%28e%5E2%29=log%28e%2C%28e%5E2%29%29

log%28e%2C%28e%5E2%29%29=2 Start with the given equation.

e%5E2=e%5E2 Rewrite the equation using the property: log%28b%2C%28x%29%29=y ====> b%5Ey=x. Basically you're taking the base "e" and raising that to the number that is on the right side. So the equation is now in exponential form.
