Let the alone time for each be a, b, and c
Then their respective rates are 1/a, 1/b, and 1/c
----------------------------
EQUATION:
1/a + 1/b + 1/c = 1/6
0 + 1/b + 1/c = 1/9
1/a + 0 + 1/c = 1/8
----------------------
Solve the system by any means to get :
1/a = 1/18
1/b = 1/24
1/c = 5/72
-----------
Then:
a would take 18 days
b would take 24 days
c would take 72/5 = 14 2/5 days
