Just take each expression separately and use logic. Take out %28x%2B10%29 first. Ask yourself, what plus ten would give me zero? You should get -10. Then take x-4. Ask yourself, what minus 4 would give me zero? You should get 4. Lastly, take x%2B6. Again, ask yourself, what plus 6 would give me zero? You should get -6. Which one of your answers is the highest number, -10, 4, or -6? Your answer to that question is four. So since 4 is your answer, separate the equation that got you that answer to (x-4) and work with it. Kick the other friends to the curb. set it up as x-4=0. Then since your original equation is an inequality, change the equal sign to a more than sign. x-4%3E0. Then as you know from before, x=4, but this time, it is altered to x%3E4. So this is your final answer that when plugged into the original equation would make the inequality true.
