You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I'm assuming that you meant to write: 6x-4y%2B8=0

-4y%2B8=0-6x Subtract 6x from both sides.

-4y=0-6x-8 Subtract 8 from both sides.

-4y=-6x-8 Combine like terms on the right side.

y=%28-6x-8%29%2F%28-4%29 Divide both sides by -4 to isolate y.

y=%283%2F2%29x%2B2 Simplify.

So the equation is now in slope intercept form y=mx%2Bb where the slope is m=3%2F2 and the y-intercept is b=2, which is the point (0,2).

Slope intercept form is y = mx + b
Given 6x-4x%2B8=0
Assuming this is a not mistyped,
2x+=+-8+
x+=+-4
slope is undefined
there is no y intercept

I figure you had a typo. Let's assume you meant 6y-4x%2B8=0
6y+=+4x+-+8+
+y+=+2x%2F3+-+4%2F3+
slope is 2/3
y intercept is -4/3
