You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You need to put the equation in the correct format 1st!!! The right hand side of the quadratic equation MUST be zero.------>> x^2-6x=16 --->> x^2-6x-16=0 ---->> (x-8)(x+2)=0 ---->> x=8, x= -2 By plugging in both values, one at a time, in your original equation for x, you will see that the two numbers work out.
