You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Just go step by step and there should be no problem at all !
y = x^2 - x - 2
If x = -2 substitute to get :
y = -2^2 - (-2) - 2
y = 4 + 2 - 2 (the minus minus gets changed into plus when brackets are opened)
y = 6 - 2
y = 4
Similiarly, we can solve the rest of the x values :
When x = -1
y = -1^2 - (-1) - 2
y = 1 + 1 - 2
y = 2 - 2
y = 0
when x = 0
y=0^2-0-2
y=o-0-2
y=-2
when x=1
y=1^2-1-2
y=1-1-2
y=0-2
y=-2
when x=2
y=2^2-2-2
y=4-2-2
y=2-2
y=0
when x=3
y=3^2-3-2
y=9-3-2
y=6-2
y=4
There you go!
