%286%2Fd-2%29=3%2B5divide both sides by (d-2)
%286%2Fd-2%29=8add 3+5
6=8%28d-2%29multiply both by (d-2)
6=8d-16distrubite the 8
22=8dadd 16 to both sides
2.75=ddivide both sides by 8
