In order to graph, we must solve for y:

y=-7-x Subtract x from both sides.


y=-x-7 Rearrange the terms





Looking at y=-x-7 we can see that the equation is in slope-intercept form y=mx%2Bb where the slope is m=-1 and the y-intercept is b=-7
