Question 146483: Rationalize the numerator and simplify.
5 sqrt (x) / sqrt (7y)
Five sqrt of x divided by sqrt of 7y.
I started this problem by mutiplying the numerator of 5 sqrt (x) to the numerator and the denom. Not sure what to do after that.
Thanks!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5sqrt(x)/sqrt(7y)
=5sqrt(x)/sqrt(7y) * sqrt(7y)/sqrt(7y)
=5sqrt(7xy)/7y
