You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Let v=car's value

Since the company did not replace the car, this means that $8,000 is less than 80% of the car's value.

So this means we have the inequality 8000+%3C+0.8%2Av

8000%2F0.8+%3C+%28cross%280.8%29%2Fcross%280.8%29%29v Divide both sides by 0.8

10000+%3C+v Divide

So our answer is v%3E10000 which means that the cars value is greater than $10,000
