You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-5-(15y-1)=2(7y-16)-y
-5-15y%2B1=2%2A7y-2%2A16-y
-5%2B1-15y=14y-32-y
-4-15y=14y-y-32
-4-15y=13y-32
-4%2B32=13y%2B15y
28=28y
28%2F28=28y%2F28
y=1
OK

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First, you need to distribute to get rid of the parentheses.
you should get:
-5-15y%2B1=14y-32-y
Then just isolate the y on one side
-15y-14y%2By=-32%2B5-1
-28y=-28
y=1
If you want to check, you plug 1 into the original answer.
Hope this helps!
