Question 145853: Please help me to solve this Q
Suppose that p and q are positive numbers for which log9 p = log12 q = log16 (p+q). What is the value of q/p? Please note that log9, log12, log16 are log to the base of 9,12 and 16.
Thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Suppose that p and q are positive numbers for which log9 p = log12 q = log16 (p+q). What is the value of q/p?
-----------
IF log9 p = log12q
THEN logp/log9 = logq/log12
AND logq/logp = log12/log9
-------
So, q/p = 12/9 = 4/3
