You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Notice how y=x%2B2 is in slope-intercept form y=mx%2Bb where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.

So this shows us that the slope is m=1 and the y-intercept is b=2

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The standard "slope-intercept" form is:
y = mx + b
where
m = slope
b = y-intercept point
Your problem:
y = x + 2
If we "rewrite" it as:
y = (1)x + 2
then
m = 1
So, your slope is 1
