You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Number of chocolates : 20
No. of chocolates filled with jelly : 5
No. of chocolates filled with caramel : 3
No. of chocolates filled with nuts : 12
Probability of picking up a jelly filled chocolate = 5/20
Probability of picking up a caramel filled chocolate = 3/20
Probability of picking up a nuts filled chocolate = 12/20
Probability of picking up a chocolate filled with either jelly, nuts or caramel =
5/20 + 3/20 + 12/20 = 20/20 = 1
Which means that any chocolate picked will surely contain any one of the fillings as probability is 100%.
