| Question 145365: The percentage of smokers P who, without telephone counseling, have successfully quit smoking for t months can be approximated by P(t)=9.02(0.93)^t.
Please help me estimate the percentage of smokers not receiving telephone counseling who are successful in quitting for 1 month, 3 months, and 1 year, then can you please help me graph the functions. I am very confused.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! The percentage of smokers P who, without telephone counseling, have successfully quit smoking for t months can be approximated by P(t)=9.02(0.93)^t. Please help me estimate the percentage of smokers not receiving telephone counseling who are successful in quitting for 1 month, 3 months, and 1 year, then can you please help me graph the functions.
 --------------------------------
 P(t)=9.02(0.93)^t
 P(1) = 9.02*(0.93)^1 = 8.3886
 P(2) = 9.02(0.93)^2 = 7.8013
 P(12)= 9.02(0.93)^12 = 3.7757...
 --------------------
