You can put this solution on YOUR website!
C = T+60
T = (2/3)C = 2C/3
---------Sub for T in the 1st eqn
C = 2C/3 + 60
Multiply thru by 3
3C = 2C + 180
C = 180
T = 120

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let c = clown's weight
Let t = trapeze artist's weight
c+=+t+%2B+60
t+=+%282%2F3%29%2Ac
-----------------
t+=+%282%2F3%29%28t+%2B+60%29
t+=+%282%2F3%29t+%2B+40
t+-+%282%2F3%29t+=+40
%281%2F3%29t+=+40
t+=+120
c+=+t+%2B+60
c+=+120+%2B+60
c+=+180
The clown weighs 180 lb and the trapeze artist
weighs 120
