You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5x-2(4+3x)=11
First you will distribute -2;
-2(4)+-2(3x);
5x-8-6x=11
Now you will add like terms;
5x-6x-8=11
-x-8=11
Add 8 to both sides;
-x-8+8=11+8
-x=19;
We do not want to leave x as a negative so we will divide both sides by -1;
-x%2F-1=19%2F-1
x=-19
Hope you understand
=)
