You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It sounds like the equation would be:
2b%5E2-a%5E2
If so, just replace the b=-1, a=-2, so you have;
2%28-1%29%5E2-%28-2%29%5E2
2%281%29-4
2-4=-2
If I did not understand the equation correctly, hopefully you can understand what to do. Just replace the b and a in the equation for the numbers given.
