You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How do I solve? Find the value of the discriminant to determine the number of real-number solutions for this quadratic equation:
x^2-8x+3=0
------------
a= 1 ; b = -8 ; c = 3
b^2-4ac = 64 - 4*1*3 = 52
Since the discriminant is positive the quadratic as two unequal Real Number
solutions.
