You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It's easy doing this manually, i mean just multiply it by the number of years working and you find out their salary right?
but we'll make a formula for both of them and just input your data.
We base our computation on this,
Salary + (Increase*Years of work) ------ mark eqn 1
after 3 years;
For clerk, as per eqn 1, $10,400 + ($400*3) =$11,600
For ass. clerk, as per eqn 1, $9,600+($600*3) =$11,400
Well, it shows the clerk has higher income for the next 3 years.
How about in the 4th year? we'll see;
For clerk, as per eqn 1, $10,400+($400*4)= $12,000
For ass clerk, as per eqn 1, $9,600+($600*4)=$12,000
They are the same!
For sure by the 5th year one will be higher because they'll have different rate. We'll see;
For clerk, as per eqn 1, $10,400+($400*5)=$12,400
For ass.clerk, as per eqn 1, $9,600+($600*5)= $12,600
There you go! You see the salary of the assistant clerk surpasses the salary of the clerk in 5 years (by $200).
Thank you,
