You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Use the intermediate value theorem to determine whether g(x)=4x^3-3x+3 has a zero between -2 and -1
----------------------
g(-2) = 4*(-2)^3-3*-2+3 = -23
g(-1) = 4*(-1)^2-3*-1+3 = 2
------------------------------------
Since g is a continuous function and g(-2)<0 while g(-1)>0, g
must pass thru g(c)=0 for some c between -2 and -1.
