(x+2)/(x-6)<=4 I assume that this is the problem. USE PARENTHESES to avoid confusion.
x+2<=4(x-6)
x+2<=4x-24 no fractions.
-3x<=-26
-3x/-3>=-26/-3 reverse the inequality sign when dividing by a negative number.
x>=26/3
