You can put this solution on YOUR website! 20^1/2 + 5^1/2 = sqt rt 20 + sqt rt 5
20^1/2=sqrt20
5^1/2=sqrt5
so we have an equality:
sqrt20+sqrt5=sqrt20+sqrt5
4.472+2.236=4.472+2.236
6.708=6.708
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 20^1/2 + 5^1/2 = sqt rt 20 + sqt rt 5

you should recall that a number raised to exponent of 1/2 is the same as the square-root of that number, so basically you have:
:
Factor 20, to reveal a perfect square (4)
