You can put this solution on YOUR website!
20^1/2 + 5^1/2 = sqt rt 20 + sqt rt 5
20^1/2=sqrt20
5^1/2=sqrt5
so we have an equality:
sqrt20+sqrt5=sqrt20+sqrt5
4.472+2.236=4.472+2.236
6.708=6.708

:
you should recall that a number raised to exponent of 1/2 is the same as the square-root of that number, so basically you have:
sqrt%2820%29+%2B+sqrt%285%29+=+sqrt%2820%29+%2B+sqrt%285%29
:
Factor 20, to reveal a perfect square (4)
sqrt%284%2A5%29+%2B+sqrt%285%29+=+sqrt%284%2A5%29+%2B+sqrt%285%29
Extract the square root of that perfect square
2%2Asqrt%285%29+%2B+sqrt%285%29+=+2%2Asqrt%285%29+%2B+sqrt%285%29
Like terms:
3%2Asqrt%285%29+=+3%2Asqrt%285%29
