You can put this solution on YOUR website! First of all, since the degree of the numerator exceeds the degree of the denominator by 1 (2nd degree trinomial divided by a 1st degree binomial), there is a linear oblique asymptote. (now you know that answer B is incorrect)
Second, perform the polynomial long division process dividing the numerator by the denominator. Discard any remainder and set y equal to the quotient to obtain the equation of the oblique or slant asymptote. (now you know that answer C is incorrect. Now all you have to figure out is whether the constant term on the quotient of divided by is +3 or +15 and you will be able to decide between answer A and answer D.)
