You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Notice if we make a table of x and y values for x%5E2-4.25x%2B4.25, we get

       x y
    1.50000 0.12500
    1.60000 0.01000
    1.70000 -0.08500
    1.80000 -0.16000
    1.90000 -0.21500
    2.00000 -0.25000
    2.10000 -0.26500
    2.20000 -0.26000
    2.30000 -0.23500
    2.40000 -0.19000
    2.50000 -0.12500
    2.60000 -0.04000
    2.70000 0.06500
    2.80000 0.19000
    2.90000 0.33500
    3.00000 0.50000

So we can see that a good approximation for the larger zero appears to be in between 2.6 and 2.7 (notice how y changes from negative to positive)

So a good approximation would be x=2.65
