You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To complete the square you take the middle term "x" coefficient, half it, then square it like so.
x^2 + 16x ----> take the 16 and half it so you get 8 then square it so you get 64
So now the equation becomes x^2 + 16x + 64.
This is now a "perfect square" and if needs factorising it will look like this
(x+8)(x+8) = x^2+8x+8x+64 next step this equals
x^2+16x+64 which equals the "perfect square" we saw before.
