It asks to choose values of x to show this is not true. Then simplify it correctly.

x=0 disproves the incorrect simplification.

Factor a 2 out of the numerator: %282%28x%5E2-16%29%29%2F%28x-4%29.

Then factor the difference of two squares in the numerator and you should be good to go.
