You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
distributing __ 4x^2-4x-5x^2=3 __ -x^2-4x=3
adding x^2+4x __ 0=x^2+4x+3
factoring __ 0=(x+3)(x+1)
so x+3=0 and x+1=0 __ x=-3 and x=-1
