You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let x=the number
Then (4/5)x=16 divide each side by 4/5
x=16(5/4)=20
(Note: 16/(4/5): multiply numerator and denominator by 5/4. Since (5/4)/(5/4)=1, we haven't changed anything. This will get rid of the fraction in the denominator. So we have: (16(5/4))/((4/5)(5/4))=16(5/4)/1 or 16(5/4))
1/5 of the number is (1/5)20=4

16+4=20
