Number 1) find the vertices,center, foci, and eccentricity of the ellipses and sketch its graph. p.s. you don't really need to sketch it for me!

Number 1) find the vertices,center, foci, and eccentricity

a = 3, b=5, therefore c = =sqrt(9+25) = sqrt(34)
Vertices at (a,0),(-a,0): (3,0),(-3,0)
Center at (h,k): (0,0)
Foci at (c,0), (-c,0): (sqrt(34),0),(-sqrt34,0)
eccentricity = c/a = sqrt(34)/3
