The equation is x^2/9 - y^2/25 = 1

Number 1) find the vertices,center, foci, and eccentricity
-----------------------
a = 3, b=5, therefore c = =sqrt(9+25) = sqrt(34)
Vertices at (a,0),(-a,0): (3,0),(-3,0)
Center at (h,k): (0,0)
Foci at (c,0), (-c,0): (sqrt(34),0),(-sqrt34,0)
eccentricity = c/a = sqrt(34)/3
