| Question 137095:  Please help me put this into proper form.
 Word problem:
 The will of an eccentric millionaire reads as follows:  "I leave 4/17 of my estate to my son, 7/13 of the remainder to my wife, 2/3 of this remainder to my daughter, and the remaining $2,000,000 to my dog."  What was the total amount of the estate?  Thanks in advance for any help!

 39000000.......	wife......18000000.......6/13
 18000000.......dautr.......6000000.........1/3
 6000000........dog.....2000000........ 1/3
 Like the eccentric millionnaire we have to do it in the reverese.
 See the table. Read from the Last line.
 Dog gets 2000000 & it is 1/3 of amount before dividing between daughter & dog.
 So bfore the transaction the amt was 2000000*3=6000000.
 To obtain amount "Before" mltiply the amount "After" by the invere of "Fraction Remaing"
