You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-2x+%2B+5y+=+10 is a linear equation written in standard form:
ax+%2B+by+=+c
But normally when solving linear equations, it is easier in slope-intercept form:
y+=+mx+%2B+b
To graph your equation, first change it to slope intercept form:
Add 2x to both sides:
-2x+%2B+2x+%2B+5y+=+10+%2B+2x
Reduce:
5y+=+2x+%2B+10
Divide both sides by 5:
5y%2F5+=+%282x+%2B+10%29%2F5
Reduce:
y+=+%282%2F5%29x+%2B+2
Now you can graph it:
+graph%28300%2C+200%2C+-15%2C+15%2C+-15%2C+15%2C+%282%2F5%29x%2B2%29+
