Question 135480: Peter is growing two strains of yeast in the labratory. Strain A had originally had 80 cells and is known to quadruple every 2 hours. Strain B initially had 640 cells and doubles every 5 hours. When will Peter observe the same number of cells in the two yeast cultures?
I tried A: y=80(4)^x/2 and B:y=640(2)^x/5 BUT I am not sure if I am correct:( Can someone please help me ???
