Question 135325: I tried solving this question but trial and error but I was wondering if there is a formula to use?
In triangle ABC,angle A is 5 times angle B, and angle c is 16 degrees less than angle b. What are the measures of the three angles?
I got Angle A-140 Angle B-28 and ANgle C-12 because I know all angles on a triangle must equal 180 degrees. Is this right and is there a formula to solve it?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! a=5b
c=b-16
a+b+c=180
5b+b+b-16=180
7b=180+16
7b=196
b=196/7
b=28 answer.
a=5*28=140 answer.
c=28-16=12 answer.
