Multiply 1st by 3 and 2nd by 2 to get:

6x-9y=3
6x-8y=10

Subtract 1st from 2nd to get:
y = 7

Substitute to solve for "x":
2x-3*7 = 1
2x = 22
x = 11
---------
Solution: (11,7)
