I'm not sure about the answer to this question as you are averaging four tests, and then three - do you average the 89 and 75 even though there were 4 and 3 tests respectively? I don't think it would be that simple!

One way is to just assume the 1st four test were all 89 & the last three were all 75:
there were 7 tests in all

Av = %284%2889%29%2B3%2875%29%29%2F7
:
Av = %28356%2B225%29%2F7
:
Av = 581%2F7
:
Av = 83

(4*89+3*75)/7=(356+225)/7=581/7=83 is the average of these 7 test scores.
