Consequently, there are roots at x= -4 and x=-2, and there are asymptotes at x= 2, and x=-1, since the function is UNDEFINED at x = 2 and x=-1. It may look as if the graph touches or crosses these asymptotes, but rest assured--IT DOES NOT!!
