You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Given: x%28x-1%29%5E2=0
find the roots.
What does it mean to be a root of an equation? That is a value of x that yields a solution.
In order for a product of terms to equal zero, at least one term must be 0. (Since 0 times anything is 0)
x%28x-1%29%5E2=0
x%28x-1%29%28x-1%29=0
so, either x = 0 or (x-1) = 0 or (x-1) = 0
roots are 0, 1, 1
