A forester mixes gasoline and oil to make 2 gallons of a mixture for his two-cycle chainsaw engine. This mixture is 32 parts gasoline and 1 part two-cycle oil. You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Currently you have 2/33 gallons of oil (2 gallons of which 1/33 is oil). You wish to achieve the ratio 40:1 so you need 40 times more gasonline = 40*2/33 = 80/33. Currently you have 64/33 gallons of gasoline in the mixture so you need to add 80/33 - 64/33 = 16/33.
