Question 133351: describe the end behavior of the graph of the polynomial function.then evaluate the function for x=-4,-3,-2
y=x^4-2x^2-x-1
y=-3x^3-6x^2
y=(x-3+)(x+1)(x+3)
need some majorr help!
thanks!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
describe the end behavior of the graph of the polynomial function.then evaluate the function for x=-4,-3,-2
y=x^4-2x^2-x-1
As x approaches -inf, f(x) approaches +inf
As x approaches +inf, f(x) approaches +inf
----------
f(-4)= (-4)^4-2(-4)^2-(-4)-1 = 227
f(-3)= 65
f(-2)= 9
------------------------
y=-3x^3-6x^2
As x approaches -inf, f(x) approaches +inf
As x approaches +inf, f(x) approaches -inf
-----------------------------------------------
f(-4)= 96
f(-3)= 27
f(-2)= 0
-----------------------------------------------
y=(x-3)(x+1)(x+3)
As x approaches -inf, f(x) approaches -inf
As x aproaches +inf, f(x) approaches +inf
f(-4)= -21
f(-3)= 0
f(-2)=5
